Watershed Coordinator: Chloe Lewis
Chloe joined the MSPRA in August of 2016. She holds a master’s degree in Environmental Management with an emphasis in Integrated Land Management. She has worked with several government agencies and private firms such as the EPA, BLM, USDA Forest Service, City and County of Denver and SRK Consulting. Her experience extends from the inventory, assessment and monitoring of natural resources (vegetation, soils and water quality), to GHG accounting, climate change modelling, social vulnerability assessments and strategic planning for community resilience and sustainability. Outside of the MSPRA she enjoys backpacking, snowboarding, reading and finding new ways to become involved with the environmental research community.
Project Manager: Amanda Brooks
Amanda joined MSPRA in July of 2017. Her experience includes public engagement, technical writing, regulatory compliance, and biological and threatened/endangered species recovery. Amanda holds an B.S. in Natural Resource Management and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Ecology from Indiana University Bloomington. She has worked for state and federal agencies including the US Forest Service and Bureau of Reclamation on wildlife and river restoration projects in Northern California and other areas of the country. She is excited to now call Northern Colorado home and is looking forward to working within the community toward a more resilient South Platte. When she’s not working Amanda enjoys cooking, gardening, rock climbing, and chasing her two boys.
